PEG's (PolyEthylene Glycol's)
Introduction:
Laffcols are adducts of ethylene Oxide with the generalised formula H(O-CH2-CH2)n OH,
representing the number of oxyethylene groups. All Laffcols are designated by a number that roughly represents the average molecular weight, such as Laffcol 200, Laffcol 300, Laffcol 400, Laffcol 600, Laffcol 1500, Laffcol 4000 and Laffcol 6000.Laffcols have ready water solubility, good lubricity, complete volatilisation which make them useful in ceramics.
Applications:
The Laffcols find application in a wide range of compounded for consumer or individual use.
- Adhesives
- Cosmetics & Toiletries,
- Inks & Printing,
- Paints & Coatings,
