Phenoxy ethanol can be used in a wide range of applications. It is used as solvent in printing ink, ball point inks and textile dyes. It is also a solvent for nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, ethyl cellulose, alkyd resins in water based coatings. It is used as a coalescing agent in lattices. It finds applications as paint remover. It is used in cosmetics and perfumes. |
