Introduction:-
Isotridecanol Ethoxylates (Laffonics 13 Series and Laffonics HPLFB) high performance, low foaming and highly biodegradable. They are APO Free i.e. NP/OP free Ethoxylates, very good emulsifiers and have good detergency. They foam lesser than nonyl phenol ethoxylates. Due to this property, they find application in places where lower foam is required. The newer textile machines operate on lower liquor ratios and they require low foam products. For such applications, Isotridecanol Ethoxylates are ideal choice.
Due to their emulsifing power, they are used to prepare stable silicone micro emulsions for fabric finishing. These products are biodegradable and therefore eco-friendly.
