Introduction
Glycol ether acetates are neutral liquids with weak pleasant odour. They are miscible with common organic solvents, but only partially with water. They are excellent solvents for nitrocellulose, cellulose, ethers, polyacrylates etc. They are used in brushing lacquers. Due to their weak odour, they are ideal for lacquers where smell is undesirable.
